For the bride whose wedding can only be described as "royal family", now your cake has a crown to go along with the occasion!

This caketopper is called "Sleeping Beauty", and is part of the cake jewelry made by PARIS.  No, not as in Hilton, but you probably know of the beautiful PARIS tiaras already.  Isn't it just the perfect crowning glory for your cake?

I'm willing to wager that these perky animated designs from LovinSullivanCakes make your heart pitter-patter a little faster, too.

Kate Sullivan's sweet inspired designs are so impeccably detailed and frame-worthy . . . I have to wonder how many brides have trouble cutting their LovinSullivan Cake!

Did you notice the ball and chain that the two lovebirds are sporting inside their white picket fence (top)?  Humor AND a sweet, almost Japanese-animation quality!

Sometimes, just sometimes, I feel that Polly Schoonmaker must be related to Mary Engelbreit.  The fanciful cutesy doodlings, the fanciful cake decoration (after all, this is the woman who is responsible for making the "whimsy cake", the cake which is a madcap creation straight out of Alice's Wonderland) . . . they certainly follow the same delightful course.

And sometimes, yes, I don't feel like looking at one. more. Mary Engelbreit notepad, but when I look at Polly's cake version, I regain my stamina.  I love Polly's Cakes!  And I bet you do too . . .

Would it be insufferable to say that Charm City Cakes really charmed me?

I thought so.

Sam Godfrey and his bakery, Perfect Endings, should not be considered mere bakers . . . no, they should be considered sheer artists.  First drawing my attention by creating breathtaking draped floral towers for both Jessica Simpson and Tori Spelling's now-sadly-finished marriages, his work most recently appeared at Oprah's 50th birthday celebration.
Besides the showcase condition of his artwork, I especially appreciate his use of the best ingredients to ensure that they taste better than they look (if this is even possible).  Perfect Endings uses premium french chocolates, fresh dairy butter and cream, fine coffee, liquors, and often organic vine-ripened fruit.  Doesn't that make your mouth water just thinking about it?

I don't know about you, but I am so. enamoured. by Maisie Fantaisie's cheery lighthearted designs, that I am tempted to pack all my belongings up for a move across the pond.

Whoever claimed that dessert was the finale' was sadly mistaken.  We shall start things off with some oh-so-tasty and beautiful cakes!

The ladies at CakeGirls in Chicago are showing some astonishingly artistic creations on their website.  I believe my favorite has to be their Tiffany Box cake, but I may be a little biased!
